What is Wellx?

Wellx is a health and insure-tech based in Dubai focused on helping users live healthier lives through tracking their activities, data and participating in challenges.

The Problem

WellX's AI Coach needed to do more than answer questions, it had to triage a health complaint (sleep, stress, low activity), ask the right follow-up questions in the right order, and land the user on something actionable: a curated article, a guided meditation, or a challenge they could join for xCoins.

Getting there required mapping every plausible branch a conversation could take, not just the happy path, but the "I didn't feel better" path, the "I have sleep apnea" path, the "give me the science" path.

The Solution

Each user response should narrow the tree toward a next-best question or resource, without ever dead-ending the conversation.

I mapped the AI coach's logic in Figjam as a branching flowchart, starting from a single root and fanning out into category → subcategory → bot response → user input loops. A few branches, as examples:
